Hello,

since I'm super-paranoid and will use the Pyra out of home, I want to fully encrypt the device.

Does the SOC support something like the AES instruction set?

If not, how much slower will the system be?

I know that video already, its funny how crazy it can get depending how serious one can get with it.

But yes I use a VPN already but thanks. :p

The Pandora has Truecrypt support but I can't find anyone mentioning performance, so I guess that was already at acceptable speed (I would assume the Pyra would be fine too than).

I had some truecrypt images in the past, and found no noticeable speed differences; but I used them just for text documents and small tests, nothing serious. But then I hardly notice the speed difference between SD cards, for example startup times.
