does anyone know weather there is a flight simulator for gp32 or anyone willing to mke one?

F22 Interceptor for Megadrive
Super Strike Eagle on SNES
G - Loc on Gamegear

All should work ok, except F22 without sound :)
Those are really arcade shooters and not real flight simulators. I think there may be some real ones for the Atari-ST.

Unfortunately no native GP32 ones exist :(

Whats the difference between simulator and shooter? I know G-Loc and Super Strike Eagle are probably shooters, but always figured F22 as a simulator. But to be honest the GP32 doesnt have the buttons or the power for a proper simulator, unless someone decides to port JSF (which I doubt)

Those games are terrible, he's talking about an actual simulator, not some 2d flight sim that looks and runs like crap. Something like MS flight sim is possible, even with the limited buttons, you could use the digital click pad as the axis controls, the shoulder buttons for speed, b for brake, and a for flaps or something like that. I would certainly play it.

An extremely rudimentary wireframe flight sim is definitely possible; I made a lame one on my TI-83+ in BASIC. It didn't run worth crap.

So obviously if you could do one that runs at 0.3 FPS on a TI-83+ in basic, someone who knows a lot more about 3D theory and such could make one. Hell, if you look at a little game called Mercenary for the Atari 800XL....

There's Flight Sim 2 for the Atari ST. I can't get it to work though, you don't have a full keyboard, and even with the chatboard, you're missing a few keys, like ( and ) which I guess are throttle... So :p

The difference is that with simulators you need to work all of the controls to fly like you would in a real plane. This means that yes you would be able to take off and land, providing you made the correct control inputs.

There are flight sims for 8-bit computers like the C-64 so a GP32 one would not impossible. It could actually be quite good with texture maps for the ground etc. The controls would need to be simplified for the limited buttons but could be done.

There is a pretty good flight sim for the GBA. I've only played it over water, but you are supposed to be able to go over land and attack tanks sometimes. The airplanes are just flat pictures, but that is ok. Its control system worked pretty well, you could press a button and it would do something, and B+ that button would so something else. With the GP32 each button could have 3 functions, Normal, +B and +Select.

I love sims.

I like train, planes and if there were any, boat/ship sims/

Are there any train sims on any of the emulators?

You might try the Elite: The New Kind port from aaaaages ago. Not a flight sim as such, but in the same vein, perhaps. No saving though, which to my mind renders it useless...

Someone should port (here we go again...) 'BVE Train Simulator' (type it in on google).

It's a totally free (I think the sources are available) Train Sim for PC. Designed to run on low spec or high spec (with addons) pcs.

I love it.

If you're not to bothered if it's a shooter you're got top gun and Airwolf (if you don't mind being in a helicopter) for the NES on Little John

I always loved Knights of the Sky on the Amiga which you can play with CaSTaway for the ST. It's WW1 planes but has tons of character etc and is really atmospheric. Unfortunately the emulated keyboard controls are very tricky away from the real thing...
