It might have been suggested before...but I heard of a file manager for the GP, and there's this interesting addition I thought of...

How about someone either add to it (sorry, I don't know who made it, at this time) or code a new file manager that will support transfer over RF between one or more GP32? Would be handy to exchange files.

There could be unique naming of GP's, password protection (so no-one could leech off your GP32 without you knowing it)...and so on.

Hmmmm - how fast would it be though? If there's a slight delay when playing games, surely the speed for transfer may be a bit frustrating? Does anyone know the speed at which the RF unit works?

Hmm...how about if the GP32 compressed data? Traditional modems do the same, as far as I remember.
I know it would take more CPU power to do that, but during a copy (or move) that would be all the GP would do.

Or maybe someone could create a link cable to transfer files?

Just dropping ideas :)

I've just begin such utility, but i wait my RF-moduls to test the prog i done :)

Octavius, rlyeh said he'll be fixing the speed issue in fsMSX32. Not sure about his NES port, though.
