I once heard here that there is a hacked FF3 rom with FF7 sprites and the FF7 story. I was excited to hear that but I cant find it anywhere does anyone know if this even exists in the first place???
Im just a fan of old school Rpg's I understand what you are saying but It would be cool just to have. It could never replace the PSX FF7 just pay tributeMofokubik posted on May 22 2004 at 11:34 AM said:A hacked ff3 rom would totally butcher ff7's story, graphics, music, and genius. Final Fantasy 7 should be left alone, it's a masterpiece itself.

I wonder if there are games like this but done to the fullest like everything changed but you said its impossible? Thank you very much for finding this for me very much appreciated.
thanks for the hints, I'm gonna check those outlizard808uk posted on May 24 2004 at 01:47 PM said:The FF7 hack on FF3 is just a straight forward graphics hack so Locke is replaced by Cloud and Terra is replaced with Aeris etc.. Its not bad, but the story is that of FF3.
The best SNES hacks are by far the Mario hacks thanks to Fusoya's Mario Editor called Lunar Magic. If you download the hacks and then apply them to multiple copies of Mario World then voila - 400 new levels of Mario Perfect for the drivetime commute (providing someone else is doing the driving!)
Also the graphically retouched version of Seiken Densetsu 3 is also worth playing, colours being a lot sharper etc..
EvilDragon, I know. The engine was made with GameMaker.EvilDragon posted on May 24 2004 at 06:32 PM said:Umm... Ocarina of Time 2D is no hack, it's a completely self-coded engine...
Still takes a while until it's finished, I guess... and I am eagerly awaiting it
