This PND is really quite an interesting fun little game to play, but it crashes when the player dies (but not when the player quits the game).

NB: using 1Ghz unit, not sure if this fact makes any difference.

Hmmm. Just tried it and it doesn't crash for me in a CC unit.

How exactly does it crash? Does it hang on the game over screen or does it exit out of the app?

Is there anything of interest in the log file in tmp?

well i got to about 40 or 50 lines, as soon as the shapes reached the top (or bottom) of the playfield  - screen instantly goes black and straight back to mini-menu, didn't even get to see a game-over screen. I'll check the logs tomorrow and post them here, it's kinda late now and my unit needs a charge.

Hmmm, never had a segfault with this...

And I tried hard, but cannot reproduce it.

Can anybody else?

Maybe a corrupted pnd?

Or you crank up such a high score, that it does something weired with scoresaving, but I cannot see the problem.

i'll check to see if its a scoring issue by running the pnd and just allowing the shapes to accumulate, i will report back with results:

seems to be fine if i just let the shapes pile up, or if i just score a few lines. Perhaps you're right about scoresaving.
