Hi ED, there seems to be renewed interest in EXT connectors this week. Would you consider making a discount on multiples in the shop (e.g. a 10-pack)? Having spare ones might encourage trying out new breakout designs and so on. I don't want to do anything with my last one because it's my last one ;)

I don't think this happened, right? (Or am I missing something?) I was sort of thinking about EXT again.

IIRC, they were priced a bit over 1 EUR in bulk. There are nearly 5000 in stock which aren't going anywhere very fast.

It's not that I want to deprive ED of a few more of my euros, but psychologically, e.g. if I think they cost 2 EUR, I'm more comfortable "wasting" a few on trying things out than if I think they cost 7 EUR.

If I fry my Pandora, that's another thing ;)

yeah you will need a few, these are a pain to solder, also the pins are pretty delicate and can be pulled out easily by mistake.

I'm glad we're not going to have to mess around with any strange external adapters on the Pyra to get to included features...
Oh yeah...
e-but-not-eSATA dongles...
I wonder if those have cases. Wrong place to ask.

Somewhere I have 10 of those ext connectors taped to an index card. I bought them back when everyone else here did. They arrived and I looked at them and then at my consumer grade soldering iron and my fat fingers and decided that I wouldn't be building any cables. They are borderline dissection scope may be required small connections.
