some time ago i read about yoyo (little john gp32's author) about features request.
well, today i had an idea... well, an "auto-load" option could be usefull, that is, when you turn on the emulator, it automatically starts up a certain game..
this way, and with multifirmware (pacrom), you can turn on the gp32 and have it automatically start your favourite game, maybe at a certain savepoint...

Well, I know that the GBA has a cool feature in at least one game (Super Mario World) that you can shut-down the unit and start back up right where you started.

If you could save the state in an emulator, you could pause the game and do the option to save the state. When you do that, the emulator has an option that remembers that xxxxxxx game was the last one you loaded. So like you said, you set pacrom to auto-load the nes emulator, which starts up from the last saved state right away.

It'd be like "stand-by" for the GP32.

Good idea if developed properly. :)
