Hi all

I am running superzaxxon beta 4 with kernal 3.2

One of the things I was looking forward to trying on my pandora is administering my home server. Having seen the one vid per day (13) about remmina I thought I would give it a go.

The first thing I noticed was that Remmina was not pre-installed on my Pandora so I went hunting for a pnd. There wasn't one in the repo but I did find one from 2010 at apps.openpandora.org. I loaded the pnd onto my SD card, placed it in the apps folder and then tried to run it... nothing happens.

The icon also looks a bit like a wordpad doc icon... I don't know if that is important but it doesn't look right to me.

So basically running it does absolutely nothing and the icon doesn't look right. I appreciate that there have been several revisions to the Pandora software since the video about Remmina was made... is it still supported?

Thanks in advance

Did you try to redownload it? Might be a corrupted pnd.

Can you give us the output in /tmp/pndrun_reminna.out file?

I haven't made the jump to SuperZaxxon yet. Let me know if it doesn't work and I'll update to SuperZaxxon and recompile the PND.

I'll do this when I get home, I don't have my pandora with me right now. Thanks for the quick responses!

Yeah sounds like a corrupted PND. Try downloading again with a different browser. Firefox is notorious for corrupting downloads.

It would be nice to have remmina on the repo, and also xtightvncviewer.
