Any suggestions on how to clean the gp32 screen. It has somehow developed fingerprint marks and suchlike that do not want to shift.

if its just fingerprints then electrical tape is good, if its someting else i dunno, window cleaner maybe? but i personally always use tape and an air duster.

I just use my t-shirt :D

I have a few small scratches but they dont notice when I'm playing (got a FLU - scratches are less-noticable altogether on them).

Electrical tape? Gods, no, that's a terrible idea, it'll both leave adhesive residue on the screen and eventually take off the glare cover in spots, forcing you to buy a new screen entirely, what works very nicely is pure silk; go down to your generic superstore and pick up a thin, 100% silk shirt (You'll know it's right when it basically feels like it'd be more suited for toilet paper than a shirt), normally easiest to get as a hawaiian shirt; just cut a square piece from it and use it to clean the screen by quickly moving back and forth first horizontally (Just one finger tip's width with each stroke), then vertically; if you did it right, the screen will look brand new (No water or cleaners, just dry)

it depends if your thinking about the same leccy tape i am, mine peels off dead easy and leaves no residue at all, its very gentle on the screen indeed. i still have complete purple ar coverage and no scratches.

Go to any photography store and pickup a lens cloth. They're inexpensive and will clean the screen perfectly.

I have been using window cleaner with good quality facial tissues.i spray cleaner on the tissues and wipe the screen gently and then go to the dry portion of the tissue and wipe it dry.it works great and i dont have the slightest scratch and ive had my flu GP32 for about 6 months now. do yourself a favor and dont try wiping the screen with anything dry because you will just move the dirt around the screen while wiping and scratch it up. :(

I was referring to markings like fingerprints, I assumed the warning about hard particles was obvious, but I guess not.. Oh well

A few years ago I heard about using car windscreen polish to clean Palm screens. I tried it on an old one I had kicking around the office and it worked great. It put a nice protective film onto the screen and made it easier to dust. I carried on using the same method on my PalmVx for a couple of years without any problems, but I've not risked trying in on my gp32 yet (and I wouldn't suggest anyone else does either, unless you have a broken gp32 that you could test it on)

I know it's not a likely scenario, but be careful with alcohol near the screen....

I once was having a few cans of Fosters and decided to clean the screen with spit and a camera-lens cloth. The result? The anti-glare coating came off in patches. Not nice!

I use a lint free cloth. Lint free means that it doesn't have fibres - so this means no tissue, as the lint can scratch the screen.

I removed the whole Anti Glare coating (That Purple Stuff???) and its Great... It is MUCH CLEARER... I recommend Removing that purple coating stuff... I love how clearer it has made my Non Flu Screen... :D
