Dc For Gp2x - 1 Question

The power source should give a stable voltage of 3 volt. Is it adjustable at 3 volt?
800mA is a bit less current. Recommended is 1 ampere and more. You can try it but perhaps the GP2x will not boot. In the moment you turn the power on, the current consumption of the GP2x is very high.

Well, my official adapter reads 3.3V 0-3.0A (set at 2.0A) center negative.

If your 800mA is center negative (and few of them are), then I'd say it should work, albeit a little underpowered. I guess your adapter is autosensing since you said 3-6V.

The answer is ... it may work. Do NOT plug it in unless it is center negative +(*-

Has been discussed before

How do you auto sense voltage requirements? If its too much, it just blows something up, and it's a little late then to turn down the voltage.

Well, you could always reverse the polarity, blow up the LTSK, and then run the thing at 12V. It'll work for a small while :D

yeah, that was a little dense on my part, probably has a switch.
