Now my skates can't arrive till January which is around my birthday time. My Dad says that I'm allowed a smaller present til then. Can anyone think of any cool things under £70?

Maybe a PC/gamecube/"place any system her" game? Or you give 70 too and buy yourself a ds!! :D

Or you buy some spare wheels for your skates.

Neon Genesis Evangelon
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
Hellsing
Tenchi Muyo!
Excel Saga
FLCL
Akira
etc., etc.,

Bootleg box sets of any of them [off of ebay], or the comics mentioned in my sig!
ok, if we're going down that route...
I have only seena few anime films and I bought boogiepop phantom on DVD. I'll be honest that series was just a very teenager depressing style show aimed at depressed teenagers. For example there was a whole episode based around the concept:
"Why do we bother living if we're just going to die anyway"
The show was to dark (not the style the actually lighting, it was almost black and white, for no good reason).

I would get a console but Omar Nawaz is sending me a psx soon so that's not really a good idea.

so if it's anime, throw some at me.

ty, still open to new ideas.

I've never heard of that but most bootleg DVD series go for $10-20...
or you can, even more illegally, download it from a P2P file sharing, i guess...yup...

as for other ideas I can't think of anything else... the comics, i guess, but I've already said that... Lain is also a good anime.... how about the other animes you've seen, what did you think about them?

thanks for that I may check it out.
I'm getting Donnie Darko-The Directors cut for Chistmas as well, I'm most happy.
EDIT: how do yo advise I buy it?
With these named sets or the collections?
I'm assuming the collections are better?

Check on ebay every now and then for Cowboy Bebop: Perfect Sessions. Its a very good bootleg of every ep. and I got it for about $20. I'm not sure if it even being made still, though...
Since bootleg is cheaper by about $80, I'd say collections, and try to find ep collections instead of movies since its a better deal.

Sam: How much $$$ is your gp32_console , I'm considering buying it...
