Okay, never even thought I'd be doing this from a handheld but here's mine:

I've connected my PSP up to my Pandora in USB mode in order to get some roms from it (in other words, the PSP is a slave drive to the 'big daddy' Pandora).

Mental.

Interesting power dynamic no?

B)

Your turn!

Someone needs to get one of these working:

resize.php

I can't find the gun that shoots nerf type darts on dealextreme anymore, that sucks!

Yeah, I think it was only $20 at dealextreme, but that might have been the version without the webcam. I'll keep checking dealextreme, they are usually cheaper than thinkgeek. I find it hard to believe that China ran out of these. . .

Okay, now i'm copying GBA roms across from my GBA flash card (it uses mini SD).

Great how I don't even need my laptop to manage this stuff!

I had fun one this morning; I was trying to get some files off an SD card and it just wasn't reading it. I was in a hurry, so I didn't have time to troubleshoot that, but then I realised that I could plug the card into a USB reader to get the files. It worked :) - Small thing in itself, but it's amazing to be able to do that with a handheld.

One of my plans for the weekend is to try to get webcam on there and record and post a youtube video of the Pandora entirely using the Pandora. Just for the sake of it, really.

I recall that the webcamless one costed around 14 USD or even less (if you bought the pirate version).

Earlier I backed up and restored my home directory without the need for another machine. Put it all into a compressed file and then onto a spare SD card.

maybe the pandora haz enuf power 4 diz!

it would be nuts to make something like that.
the pandora is only missing a camera.

i already have an app in j2se to capture and point out center of mass in video difference algorithm.

First PND I made crashed XFCE... not good!

It's dead easy to install from the angstrom repo anyway, especially as it has no dependencies.

that would write to the NAND, no?
I'd rather have a Pandora OS on a SD card and fiddle Ångström repos on that

It does install on the NAND, but these are tiny programs and I still have 70mb left there.

It writes to the NAND for like, 5 seconds while installing? I don't think that causes any damage.

Seriously though, why are people so paranoid about this? How many gadgets out there only use NAND? Iphone anyone?

The firmware writes to itself all the time. :D

Just remembered other weird stuff:

Was compiling software while sat on the toilet!

Copied music to my Ipod Shuffle with a python script.
