Would it be possible to make a CDE install PND, not unlike the OpenBox one? I like to use CDE on my laptop, and I'd like to be able to have it on Pandora too. I don't think it's very big.

CDE? Oh my God. Now, that takes me back a while...

Meh, proper oldschool is twm, that assuming you ever got round to installing X in the intervening 30 years at all.
I'm sure I can find a system still in use at work running TWM.

In my case, it is back to my university days. The first year, we had machines running SunOS and SunView (and some running Medley, but that is another beast altogether). Then, SunOS ticked over into Solaris and that meant TWM or varieties thereof (I seem to remember CTWM). Then, around -94 or so, we got CDE on top of our Solaris. Ah, memories :D

Well, maybe I'll try to compile it and see if it compiles, but I've no idea how to make anything that would install it to the NAND safely for use as the desktop.

I mainly use CDE because 1, I find it pretty, and 2, 3D intensive games tend to run slightly better than in MATE.
