Haven't read the whole thread, so forgive any repeated info.
been using UDE (Ultimate Dashboard Exploit, the precursor to UXE) along with Double Dash (using this to allow me to easily bounce back and forth between the UDE, which is what the Xbox boots to by default, and the stock MS dash w/o rebooting the system). With just stock UDE once you go from UDE to stock dash you can't go back to UDE w/o rebooting. No big deal I guess but I thought I was pretty ingenious when I figured out how to do this
At any rate, UDE works fantastically, there is no clock loop, and no problem loading custom soundtracks onto the hard drive like there is with some of the other exploits (ST.DB file bug). There is a package out by Idots which will install UDE or UXE and works really great, that's the one I would recommend, for sure. Though the instructions, last time I checked, were moderately difficult to follow. I just did everything myself manually, really wasn't hard at all, hardest part for me was figuring out what settings my xbox wanted for me to FTP into it.
