What speed card is the maximum that the GP2X can except?

And what will be the price of that.

What you have to remember is that sd speed isn't all that important on the gp2x (especially as the driver only runs at mmc speeds at the moment). You've only got a limited amount of ram to play with, and even with a slower card it's not going to take long to load as much as possible from the card into the ram. Where the speed becomes important is loading the data onto it in the first place because that's the time when you're going to be throwing hundreds of mb around at once.

I'd wager the few minutes I'd save per 100MB aren't worth any actual money...

The way I see it Im going to have my GP2X for a long time and I dont want to be buying anymore SD cards for awhile so I might as well spend £10 extra now on a x133 card and transfer files in seconds rather than minutes especially in a situation where Im transferring a full 700MB movie just before I leave the house for example.

But thats just me :)

Of course, if it's only £10 more expensive, it might be worth it. Tech tends to be more expensive on the top.

Like, 2000MHZ processor costs 200€, ad 500MHZ to that, and it costs 400€.
