Hello just got my wiz, and already want to tinker with it. (that's the point right?)

Is there a way to change the default background? I searched the boards and one person had a now dead link to a Korean site and talked of a "BG.gpu" file you run from your SD root directory. Is this file still around? Is it safe to use? Is there another way?

Figured out a way to do it for those interested.

Step one: Download the Firmware 1.0.0 default skin from open Handhelds. http://dl.openhandhelds.org/cgi-bin/wiz.cgi?0,0,0,0,50,58
Step two: Extract and open folder imgcommon, look for "body.png" replace it with the background you want. Make sure it's 320x 240 and PNG format.
Step three put the ENTIRE FW100Default folder onto your SD card.
Step four: Run Install.gpu and wait for it to load.

Then it should work weather you have the SD card in or out. This worked for me at least. I hope it doesn't cause problems for anyone else.

Now to another note. Does anyone know how to change the bright orange Loading Screen? I'd prefer something more simple that was just black with the Wiz logo and said "Loading" or something. Not really important, I just like to customize things.
