from the schematic of the ext port on the gp2x wiki site i saw that there were 4 pins that dealt with usb information transfer - pins 9, 10, 11, and 12. 9 and 10 are labeled USBH1- and USBH1+ respectively. Pins 11 and 12 are USBD- and USBD+. I assume H stands for Host and D for Device.

I'm currently making an ext adapter and I'm curious if the gp2x (f200) can support two usb ports, one using pins 9 and 10, and the other using pins 11 and 12.

I am aware that it has to be powered and of mostly any other issues.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it can support two usb ports - one of which is a device only and one of which is a host only.

To get more host ports, you have to use a usb hub.

is there any way of getting the device port to act as a host port?

the instructions on the Usb Host page on the gp2x wiki site.. are the only for the f100? the f200 has a host mode option.
