Calling devices for the Pyra ?

Dream Pyra companion device:
A 75-100mm diagonal monochrome back or side lit e-ink touch display with speaker & mic & diminutive LiPo battery.
Screen mirrors device screen with ~0.25 second screen updates over bluetooth IF needed.
Touchpad coordinates mirrors touch screen on device.
Speaker & mic work as bluetooth headset.

Dual purpose as 'phone handset' and shirt pocket e-book reader. Does nothing without a Pyra (or other device) to talk to.

Actually, if we just had a clip-on phone layer on the closed case, it would be a bit bricky, but effective and costless battery-wise.

I wonder, how much added cost would it make to move the mic and add a third speaker to the back of the display ? The PCB could receive the components, it's mostly a matter of changing the schematics.

Not sure of cost. This would also require new or additional cables, additional components (mic on back would only be useable for that one purpose, and not with games and typical computer software), changes to at least one PCB, changes to the case, and even more delays. Since most things are finalized, or nearly so, I recommend picking up a wired headset. ED can probably try out a few, find the one he likes best, then buy in bulk and over them at a slight discount in the shop for people that buy a 4G Pyra.
