Hello there,

I have sailed the vast seas of the internet to this forum for a request of help!
I've bought this tiny wifi adapter from dealextreme with the hopes of compiling the drivers and using it for the caanoo. Alas I lack the knowledge to do so.

I want to ask if it's possible to get this adapter running with the caanoo. Also I'm willing to go through the process of cross compilation if someone would give me guidance through the process (I have no experience in cross compilation)

Some info that might help:

Chipset: Realtek RTL8192CU

Any Ideas?

Okay. It seems that I've managed to do a little patch on the caanoo kernel.
I added the rtlwifi module from the current 2.6.38 kernel. It compiled fine. But...

Now I have another, but a less significant problem. What's the correct way to reflash the caanoo kernel with your own custom one?
I thought about modifing the 1.6 firmware update by replacing the kernel image with my own, but which one is the right one? uImage-n35 or uImageUP or maybe something else ?

I'll try experimenting, though I would like someone to tell me the right path for this.

Thank you, and sorry for the unbearable noobiness.
