Buying My Brother A P&|a Battery For His Psp

The offer is without the memory stick. You have to make that yourself but you can do that with a PC and cardreader (use the PSP as a cardreader :) ) only. That means, you don't need a modded PSP to create the special memorystick. It is said that memorysticks below 64Mb and of 4Gb and higher can't be used because of the internal structure.

You can also buy a pack with a memorystick included, but it's a 4Gb so unusable for Pandora: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12711

If your brother has a Slim, I highly recommend this one: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15153 since it can be used as a normal spare battery too.

Google for "pandora easy installer" or "umps" for easy installers.

I made a pandora battery for my PSP (fat), and a friend's PSP (thin). It wasnt a massive deal, just a load of steps to follow and you have to make sure you have at least one PSP with a custom firmware, or firmware 1.50 on it already and also the correct type of battery. Do your homework on which battery to use, however I used the battery from my own first release PSP fat, and then converted it back to a normal battery after i had finished. I believe the guide i used was on maxconsole, either...

This one or this one. You can unbrick a PSP with these guides too btw.

Well, some people have reported to be successful in creating a 4Gb magic stick (I guess they formatted it as FAT16 using a PC and a cardreader) but I've yet to see the proof. I never managed to get my 4Gb sticks booting as a magic stick. And using the 8Gb seems to be utterly impossible, although once the PSP has custom firmware, it comes in very useful :D
