hope that got attention
well, while your here, could people go through the Linux forum and see if they have any answers, Ive been waiting about 2 weeks for posts in some threads...
Kinda would like some answers, I know someone has to know them..

anyways...
When I get my USB device, how do I go about browsing it via command line?
I know how to browse the SMC folders and stuff, read things, and am eager to set up my USB device and get to it
so, what do I do to enter the USB device that I hook on and browse it?

please, I can't wait to have some fun with this stuff

thx

hmm
ok, anyone else? I would love as many replies as posable

/mnt is the standard directory right?
thats the main one in GPLinux i believe

~Octavious

What about just trying it and tell me if it works or not?

/mnt is the "standard" mountpoint for temporary mounts.
the main one is always /

you can make a folder where ever you wantand mount a device to it

use the mkdir command to make a folder

use mount to mount your device to that folder

example

mkdir /home/octavious/usbdevice

mount /dev/sda1 //home/octavious/usbdevice

I havn't used gplinux but it's still linux and this is how this shit works.
