Was introduced to this genius little gem of a game -

http://www.puzzle-bridges.com/

Anyone know of a mobile version, would be well suited to touch screen goodness!

never heard of this game - but i just played through 2 puzzles. interesting one - and the source should be available here: http://www.puzzle-bridges.com/js/

Bridges is also part of Simon Tatham's portable puzzle collection which has been ported to the GP2X by ledow, I'm not sure if there's a wiz version though.

thanks for the hint. as it seems it was not yet ported to the wiz - but it shouldn't be more than just a recompile of the sources.

just to note: it took my about 10 minutes to get the portable puzzle collection running on the wiz. actually i just tested bridges and it works. i'm in a hurry now - so the binary release must wait until tomorrow.

Thanks for porting this. :)

A quick question will it support the touchscreen and the music pack? (as the GP2X version did)

I've also found an icon for it:

Looking forward to seeing it up on the archive.

Cheers, Neil

PS. A port of Chaos2X would be nice. ;)

I just tested music, touchscreen and some other games, everything seems to run fine. if someone wants to test it before i upload it to the archives, grab it here.

Thanks for this, crow_riot. Always glad to see my efforts helping others out. I have a new version due for release precisely "when I can be bothered", and of course if you have had to make any changes you'd like put back into the other versions so we have just one codebase for all versions, that'd be great. So far, that's GP2X, Wiz, Dingoo A320 and a couple of other systems that are running that code (rumours of PSP and NDS versions were abound for a while - dunno if they came to fruition).

Do you mind if I stick up this file / a link to it on this page: http://www.ledow.org.uk/gp2x/ ?

Thank you so much for this - works like a charm! My wiz was getting puzzle game withdrawals :)

Makes me wonder what other gp2x gems the wiz has been missing out on.

I dont have a problem with that, you can directly link to that file or host it on your own page, doesnt matter to me. I think I'm going to put it on the archives, too, then i'd be easier to find for others :)

at the moment there's nothing really to put back into your codebase since it was quick-n-dirty and i didn't care about cleanliness ;) - but i can hand you over the files sdl.c and the wiz Makefile if you want.
