Petiso & Protoss released a new game for the GP32 called Boletes.

The goal is to put all the balls of the same color on his zone moving the hole in the middle of the bar.

You can download it at the GP32x File Archive.

Ed you should change the news heading.
It says "[GP2X] Boletes V1.0 Released" but its a GP32 game right?

I remember a pack of Windows games that had a game like this in it. That was almost 10 years ago. It's a good game.

I also recall one that was similar in which you would try to get the ball(s) into smaller and smaller sections. In that way it was like QIX, but it actually was similar to this Boletes game. You would move to a place on the screen and then hit the button. Your wall would extend from there up/down (or left/right) until it hit both walls. If the ball hit it while building, you lost, but if the wall got completed then you could continue.

I don't recall the details of these games too well, but I do remember wasting a fair ammount of time on them. I also think that there was the cat/mouse game in there where you would control the mouse and try to box in the cats. When you trapped them, they turned into cheese. Someone made a GP32 version of that one a long time ago.

Anyway, cool game. I'll be waiting for the GP2X version.

What a simple, clever yet effective idea, was the first thing I said when I've started this! Now I smile when I read it was already done before (But this doesn't make the game to suck of course ;). Addictive game!

I did a bit more research. I think that all the games I was thinking came from various versions of the "Windows Entertainment Pack." The one I was thinking of was called Jezzball.

Here's a simple online version of the game I was talking about.

Left Mouse Button draws the line
Right Mouse Button changes from Up/Dn to Left/Right

I found the link at http://www.jezzball.com/ which has links to other versions of the game. Some even contain source code. Also see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JezzBall.

Though, I can't find the red/blue ball sorting game in the Windows Entertainment Pack. Perhaps I am grouping them together in my mind for some other reason.
EDIT: Actually, I did find it. It was called "Maxwell's Maniac" and it's listed on the Windows Entertainment Pack Wiki Page but the link doesn't go anywhere.

Thanks for all the comments.

But I never say that the game was “original”. I get the idea for a flash game that I don’t remember where I see that.

On night I needed to program something and I do that small game.

Bye !
