My monitor has these inputs on the back:

Should I get something like this 5 BNC Monitor Cable?

I hear the image quality is much crisper, has anyone any experience with this?

btw: I have a Philips 201B 21" screen.

It is better, but you'll only notice it if the monitor cable is pretty long (>2m)
I haven't seen a difference between a good BNC cable and a good VGA cable.

Maybe if your monitor is pretty good... but I tried it on SUN / IBM Flat Trinitron monitors, which ARE pretty good.

I used one of those cables for a few years on my old monitor, and although the quality was slightly better, it wasn't enough to warrant the price.

How much are the cables now? I may be able to sell you one cheap :)

Well the one I linked to was a belkin 1.8M for £11.97 at ebuyer. The customer's reviews are saying that it costsup to 2-3 times more elsewhere, so I suppose this is a particularly good price.

Would you sell yours for about £5? I'm sorry if that's a crazy offer (just ignore me! ;) ) but I don't know how much they were worth and I'm not too fussed if they won't make a massive difference.
