Like in squidge snes you select the number of voltage for the battery indicator.. Im sure that 2.2v is good, and the gph must put on the light at 2.5 or sumthing which is like 1/3 power left, or more. <_<

Since the volts go down as your batteries die.

I believe overclocking will cause the light to come on prematurely because the GP2X is drawing more current which will cause the battery voltage to drop (same thing on a power supply). I noticed that the battery light will be off when I am in the menu, but when I start a game, it comes on. The proccessor is going from 66MHz back to 200MHz (unless you start the game with a clocking script), so the voltage is effected.
