Audio on the Pyra : a state of things ?


For what it's worth with youtube you could forward what your high-end measuring instruments are showing. I'm sure the audiophile would know to interprete that.

So audiophiles care about the quality of sound, but don't need to hear it? That seems boring. That is like having someone describe a picture to you instead of looking at it. I get your point though, so that might be good enough.

Well of course you need to, but to avoid placebo effects, the numbers are good at pointing out its quality. Things like signal-to-noise ratio, frequency response, or impedance give an idea of how well and accurate they restitute sound, and how good they can drive the more demanding headphones.
At least that's what I understand as a audiophilia newbie.
