Hmmmm, from Atari 2600 to super quality 3d games...
HOLY CRAP, MAN!!! Have you been living under a rock??ive never even heard of deux x or whateverr.
Thanks for the link, it says what I thought though, the Atari ST (along with many other computers/consoles) was built with the 68000 chip and it was 16 bit, I was looking for any evidence saying that it was in fact a 32 bit chip like ctirad said, but I couldn't find anything.I vote 2600, because i own that one. All the games are classics, so simple yet so so fun. This is back in the day where gaming used to be fun to play, not just drooling at jaw dropping good graphics (halflife2) but then again, halflife2 kicks all the ass in the world.
here is info on itST is 16 bit like an Amiga or SNES.
In fact, ST and Amiga are 32bit computers. Unfortunatelly the 68000 is often called 16bit or 16/32bit CPU, however, it´s a true 32bit CPU.
Really? I thought the 68000 was a 16 bit chip and the 68020 was the 32 bit version (Amiga 1200 and CD32)
Where did you read this? any links please?

Pfft... They're all PC ports, much better with a mouse and keyboard.are you serious?!?!?! goldeneye is far from the best fps...
n64s fps games werent that much to brag about...sept for turok, that game was sweet as hell....
anyway, dreamcast also had its fair share of great fps games. Halflife, unreal, quake1, quake2, quake3a, Doom, wolf3d, etc....
I hate to admit it, but halflife on ps2 is also great...dont know about the other ps2 fps games though....
xbox with all of the upcomming games will own in my opinion. halflife2, halo1, halo2, doom3, turok evolution (i know its multiplatform) and more crap.
Haha! Good point! My fault for not buying them for mine.@thebluenewt
i havent played a dreamcast fps game yet that didnt work with both the keyboard and mouse.
In progess:what about the Atari 800!? bah!
Very good news, Atari all the way !!!In progess:what about the Atari 800!? bah!

Subject: [Atari800-users] GP32 port of Atari800
Date: 30 May 2003 06:15:01 +0100
Just thought I should let you know I am in the process of porting the emulator
to the GP32 (see www.gamepark.com). Thanks to the nice clear interfaces (good
job guys) it has not been too hard so far. Graphics, sound and the
joystick are all working. Missile Command is working great
I plan to spend the next week or two fixing some bugs (spontaneous reboots ->
GP32 libc bugs mostly...), writing some input configuration code (not many
keys on this thing!) and cleaning it up. Then I'll do an initial release. Of
course src will be available (since atari800 is GPL). If I can get a nice
neat patch then it would be nice to get it into the main tree, but thats
later and needs discussion.
Thanks,
Mark Watson
