Anyone that lives in Germany?

yes, i'm in stuttgart.

by the way, there was a long list of gp32 owners (and rf link owners) somewhere on the web. Anybody remembers? It showed exactly where to find that pal to do multiplayer games with...

While I'm not German, the two countries are close enough to, perhaps, expand on my mentioned idea of having a small GP32 gathering, but this time somewhere centralized for dutch people and german people?

I think a gathering would be more likely if there are more people in the 'scene'. Then a EU-gathering would even be possible. Before that it would be 4 guys playing on an upgraded GBA in a snackbar.

I'm also from Germany (living near Hamburg). I'm pretty sure there are are lot of german GP32 users. I already convinced two of my german pals to buy one :D

Hi!
I'm German, too and come from ... well, it's near Duesseldorf.
Could anyone of you tell me where to buy a GP32 cheap? I already know of lik-sang.com and gbax.com , but aren't there any German shops that sell GP32s ??

Just my side-note - I'm always amazed by the standard of English on these boards - considering a hell of a lot of the people dont speak English as a first laguage. If I could speak another language as well as you lot can speak English, I'd be well happy :)

@Axeman

If you're interested in computers, as most of us obviously are, basic knowledge of
English is a must, I think. In Switzerland, just a year or two ago, they started
to teach preliminary English already in kindergarten.

If I'd live in the US, probably I wouldn't care too much about foreign languages.
But since I'm Swiss, and there are 4 different official languages in this tiny little
country, it's crucial to know at least some of them. So I speak Swiss German (as
mother tongue), German, French, English, and some Italian and Spanish.
This isn't so extraordinary here.

Same in holland, at a very young age children already learn english. Even my 3 year old already speaks english (well, if you count shouting "Playstation two" and "Game Over" as speaking english ;) )

How can you get someone to buy one, my friends were -100% impressed (even though I like it 99.9%) They think the free games aren't as good as buy ones, but even if they were 1/10th as good (which I think they are 1/1th as good) I would have saved about $10! Need gathering... (mabye I could sneak out in the middle of the night and steal the car ;) )

I suppose that makes me quite versatile as well, when it comes to languages.

Born in Poland, moved to The Netherlands in 1990...learned Dutch and English. The former in school, the latter from TV and computer. Odd, I know :)

So...I've seen alot of replies...let's set up some sort of a website to plan a meet?
