A Bluetooth 5 USB stick might work. Not sure if the OS supports this. Those sticks can be really tiny.

I guess I'll count myself lucky my 2015 headset worksYeah the only luck I've had was a 2008 vintage Motorola headset, which is obviously running an older protocol... And if I recall it was kind of a pain to route the default audio once it was connected.
