I've had mine since early December. It's a great phone, especially the screen - it's really much sharper compared to my previous android phone (Galaxy Note) and feels great to touch. Build quality is great and doesn't look cheap.
Fastest phone I've ever used, everything is smooth and instant. Switching between apps is too. Compared to my Galaxy Note it gets blown into pieces by the Nexus 4 in terms of speed.
Battery life is okay, it will last a day but not more, with heavy data usage you might have troubles getting through the day without charging. Look into alternative kernels if this becomes an issue. Camera is the weak point for sure, it's similar to my Note in quality but I like the note better because it doesn't have that annoying autofocus. This is what happens to me, I look at the camera and the focus is good, I try to snap a photo real quick and it starts to adjust the focus every time, it takes about 1.5 second.. really annoying, for moving objects like kids or animals it's a killer. I should be able to disable this "feature" to focus before shooting when the focus is already good.
With that said it's still the best phone I've ever owned and I encourage you to get one. Great piece of hardware for sure, and if you're looking for a new phone definitely get this one. I had a Nexus S and loved it for the great variety of different roms and innovations and cool stuff always came to my device first, huge selection of custom roms and kernels w/ overclocking and so on.. and official updates didn't take 9 months. Huge disappointment when I went with the galaxy note. never again. Glad to be back with a nexus device.
