Primary use will be media streaming.. & perhaps some gaming/emulator shenanigans

Brace yourselves idiotic question incoming.. but how exactly would you interact with one connected to a TV.. PS3 controller, specific remote or something else entirely..?

Thanks.

Try the Tronsmart T428 which has the RK3188 Quad core SOC which is about 30% faster than a Tegra  3.  There are many other almost identical products , I wont list them all (like the MK802 IV).  Just do a search for RK3188 pc stick.

Demo of the T428:

PC Sticks are controlled generally with an Air mouse keyboard combo - like this one http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Brand-New-RC12-Wireless-2-4G-Fly-Mouse-Keyboard---Mouse-Remote-Control-for-Android-TV-Box-PC-Smart-TV-306674.html

Alternatively you can also use your smartphone to control them with an app . Here's some more info here:  http://liliputing.com/2013/05/remote-control-an-rk3188-android-stick-with-your-phone-tablet.html

Do these actually stream HD now? Last I knew that were laggy and jerky.
I want one for dedicated XBMC.

^ They do play HD now, early versions of the Dual cores were choppy, but with firmware updates etc they were ok.

Whats the best you've seen?  I'm still looking for something to replace the MK802 on my Atrix lapdock configuration, and if there are any out there that can have their RAM upgraded, maybe you'd know about it?  I heard there was a possibility to ugprade the RAM with microSD packages, seen much about that?
