Hi,

I have Android running well, followed ED's guide to install CyanogenMod GAPPS, but I did not get the Play Store.

Is this normal?

If not, can someone help?

Maybe I did something wrong.

Google Play and other Google apps are not includet in CyanogenMod. You have to install them separately.

your talking about these instructions, right?

Get Google Play Store working on your Pandora

1. Grab the needed data files from the CyanogenMod wiki. (We're using CM7 here, so be sure to grab the correct one!)

2. Simply extract the ZIP into the /pandora/appdata/android_gingerbread - Folder on your SD Card. Remove the meta-inf-Folder (otherwise, it might hang later).

3. On your next Android boot, the store setup should appear automatically (be sure you set up your WiFi connection before!)

4. The store should now work. In case you got connection issues (but internet itself works fine), be sure to doublecheck that the date is correctly set (you can only set that from Linux)!

Edit: which version did you chose?

Please post in the android or support section next time :) .

I got a premade immage so I didn't have this problem :P .

Did you reboot you unit as the manual says?

If it doesn't work I think the best solution is to download a Google Play store.apk from the internet and install it manually.

Try different versions if the first one won't work as not all of them might be compatible to Pandora-Android.

That's the way how I installed Amazon Appstore. It worked with the first .apk.

I hope that helps you.
