Just checked a few of the GP32 game developer website (in hope I can grab some of their GP32 games...) and found something interesting on the AnB Soft site...

Go there and look at the bottom... they have a GamePark HOLDINGS logo there!

Last game they developed was Wanna be a Wizard - and at that time, GamePark hasn't been split...

Now, could this mean they want to develop games for the gp2x...?

It looks as if gamepark holdings may have aquired them and will use them as 1st party developers again.

Hopefully the games will be a little more developed this time around.

What's GXG? I know what a GPang is, it's that weird cellphone-like system... Maybe they'll bring wanna be wizard to the GP2x in english, that would be awesome!

Holy crap, these have gotta be games for the 2X... GPH logo? copyright 2005? Armored Weapon Balkiss? Never heard of it before but it's 3D apparently.

I wouldnt ignore the possibility of these being cellphone games but with the logo there it's pretty airtight that we'll see these on the 2X.

Do you think they could (because they make it, they have the source code...) to port WbW on the GP2X. I really wanted to play this game, but it has never been released in English (but Lethe made a translation ?!), so if it could be ported on the GP2X it would be cool (but maybe there are problems of copyright, since it was developed fot GP32....)

There's honestly no reason why they couldnt port it. If Astonisia Story can get a PSP port (which would never have a community that would have someone do a free translation for them to english.) then I dont see why they wouldn't. Actually I feel like they held WBW back because they knew the 2X was comming and that it would have a better chance of wider distribution.

I would have bought it back on GP32, if they made a port for GP2X it's a no brainer purchase.

I am not sure a\that the GPH logo has something common with GP2X because a few months before Wanna Be Wizard was out the site www.gamepark.com had the same logo. I think that the GP and GPH had split a little after the European release and the following crash with the BLU+ which cost them Lik-Sang.

There is the matter of the year though, that leads me to suspect it's a recent occurance and half these games I've never heard of.

.....Of course I suppose someone could just ask GPH if they're working with them

Yeah exactly. They probably put that logo up before Gamepark Holdings split up, when it was GPH who owned... part of the rights? of those games. In that case the GPH logo might mean nothing.

And apparently the GXG is another mobile phone like the GPang, one of those gadgets that make me wish i was korean. I guess.

Is there any chance that they are working on games for the GP2X? They are displaying the GPH logo so it makes me wonder.
