Seriously the best way to make money with your games is by making a good game. PERIOD
It's not easy though, but any other route to forceful make money out of your work will just get you disrespect and hate.
Start by making a few free titles, make yourself known as a good game designer, then move onto a bigger project and try to sell it.
That's not an easy and pretty time consuming way obviously and honestly there is no way around that. If you are just trying too hard to make money out of whatever shitty game you produce you will just fail miserably like those F2p games that spawn all over the world.
(There is of course the possibility of landing a smash hit with a mediocre game - say Angry Birds - and make millions of cash, but you have got to realize that's a chance of one in a million).
Few people actually can live off indie game development and if you are interested in that you should just do it for fun, not for money (not saying you must not earn money with it, but that should not be the top priority).
So back to your original idea, I really really dislike it ... a lot. (Quotes like “which is the cheapest way to make money online,” strike me as a very horrible way of thinking).
