I'll second the suggestion of Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker. It's not exactly state-of-the-art in the graphics/sound department, but remains an excellent overall simulation of the game that plays very realistically.
I've been playing it recently usting OutcaST and it runs just fine, though controlling things using the GP2X stick is somewhat awkward (in its original form, the game is mostly mouse driven) but you get used to it after a bit.
