Ok, i'll come straight out and ask. Is full speed Snes, or Genesis emulation possible with sound?

The emulators out at the moment currently do an absolutely cracking job, but is it possible with the GP32 hardware, to have full speed, full sound?

im not sure about the genesis emu as i dont play it much but the snes emu is coming along nicely and i believe it will result in a full speed emu (or very close to possibly requiring frameskipping) with sound.

So i am fairly confident that eventually well have full or almost full snes emu.

Sure - an SNES/MD emu written in ASM from the ground up could easily be 60 FPS w/sound (barring stuff like the 21MHz SuperFX2, of course...), but from a realistic time/effort standpoint, 100% speed w/sound at FS1 is still achievable with optimized ports of existing emulators.

Yeah, I think both are definetly possible. Not exactly Full speed with sound at FS 0, but more likely full speed with sound at FS 1-3.
