Hi,

I have an HP Proliant ML115 server running Debian stable "Lenny" 5.0.8, collecting dust in my kitchen (only doing DHCP, DNS and firewalling...)

At the moment only Apache is up IIRC, you can reach it at magicsam.dyndns.org (NAT should work)

What other services would be useful to the community ? Would an FTP server come in handy to host homebrew projects ?

Bye, Magic Sam

You could try installing and maintaining a planet site. I used to do that for other projects, but then I forgot to pay the hosting bill and they promptly deleted my stuff. Didn't feel like going back to it. But a planet site is useful infra to have for any community.
