Hi guys,

I need your help to install Debian Lenny on a server, which has neither a keyboard nor a screen :)

My network looks like this:

I have a Debian Lenny laptop connected to an ADSL router over Wifi.
I have an HP Proliant ML115 server connected to the same router over ethernet.

I've been through the Debian Install Manual over and over again...

So far I tried these two methods:

- PXE boot with DHCP, TFTP, BOOTP servers installed on my laptop: it didn't work, I'm sure I did something wrong...

- Automated Netinst with "preseed" from an USB key: it seems not to work.

What would you do in my situation ? How did you manage such an installation in the past ?

Bye and thanks for your help ! Magic Sam

If you could figure out how to network boot a linux distro that ran a SSH server. You could use one of the various install from another distro guides, they normally reference knoppix.
