I want to know if it worth buying a GP32 from GBAx.com who seem's to have 180 mhz special GP32? Because I know that the clock speed of the processor is chose by the program, however I've looked around and notified that none of the programs are set to work on 180 mhz or offer a speed selection that include a 180 mhz choice... so why buy it if no programs use a 180 mhz speed?

And make sure you're prepared to wait, I ordered mine a month ago and it isn't coming 'till friday :( .

But after friday stock problems should be sorted out.

Lots of programs use it, for example, OSNES9xGP, Quake, clockspeed tester etc.. :p

I got my GP32 not guaranteed of anything from GBAX and it goes up to 220mhz.
A lot?!
Not yet...

Well I think they have been hex edited to let you go up to 180Mhz, 'cause the BLU comes with a CD full of special 180Mhz emulators.

Yes and one other thing is I want to know if even it's modified to go to 180 mhz will it be able to get at low clock speed like if it was not modified at all?

And will a 180 mhz modded GP32 will go faster than a 166 mhz GP32 because I've looked around on the forum and it was told that speed over 166 mhz will not increase the speed at all since the memory bus cannot go faster than 166 mhz. So why should we buy 180 mhz gp32 from GBAx if it's not more powerful than a 166 mhz???

A gp32 at 180mhz will go faster than 166mhz. If you are lucky you may even be able to get to 200mhz or above.
