    Wikipedia Article Update

The wiki at gp2x.org is even more out of date: http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Wiz I wonder if this page could be updated, then used as a source to update Wikipedia? :P

    Learning To Program

Being a very basic (i.e. BASIC) programmer myself, I've tried both Fenix & Python and had some fun with them. But ultimately, GLBasic grabbed me more than either of the others. It turned out to be the most intuitive and user-friendly to my non-programmer brain. Also, the developers are very...

    Dosbox For Gp2x 0.72-4

I'm very interested to know about Arena as well! I tried both Arena & Daggerfall with the previous update, and got nothing but a black screen. But knowing me, it was most definitely user error. Anyone else willing to take a stab at the appropriate config files? :D

Flipir - New Homebrew Puzzle Game

I think I fixed this. The program should now detect whether it's running on an F100 or F200, and tell the user to either "press a key" or "tap the screen" accordingly. Please let me know if this doesn't work properly on the F200!

Flipir - New Homebrew Puzzle Game

Actually, it is quite easy to add your own pictures. If you go into the "media/space" folder, you can add a new before-pic using the filename "visible##.png," and an after-pic using "infrared##.png." Not that I'm encouraging anyone to replace all the images with naked people or anything...

Flipir - New Homebrew Puzzle Game

You're right, of course. I only have an F100, so I don't tend to notice those things when I'm debugging. Incidentally, thanks for the icon! I've already uploaded a replacement zip file that includes it. :)

Flipir - New Homebrew Puzzle Game

The game of "Lights Out", either one of the most mathematically logical puzzle games ever, or one of the most utterly annoying...depending upon who you ask. :) Click here to download from the GP2x.de archives When the game starts, a visible-light image of the Universe will appear...

Needed! Artist - Very Little Work Needed - Due Credit Given!

Perhaps, but it's also not original work: http://www.bc.cc.ca.us/athletics/WomensSoccer/ (scroll down to the bottom-left image)

    Interest In A "art/design" Competition.

To be honest, I don't think I would enter. It's one thing to spend a great deal of time working on art that you *know* is going to be used someplace (albeit after possible revisions). It's another thing to put all that effort into something that looks nice, compete with other people who have...

Lexeme - New Homebrew Puzzle Game

Ha! No worries! :) I may change the rules to those of Mastermind in the future. For now, this was kind of a quick-programming deal, so I guess I was a bit lazy about the rules I chose. ;) I think I've found my review quote: "Lexeme... I was drop dead tired and had to collapse after playing...

Lexeme - New Homebrew Puzzle Game

Hmm...I checked the game, recreating the answer word BARF. A guess of HEAR gave me two yellow pegs, which is correct. If you encounter the issue again, please let me know exactly what word you entered, what pegs you received, and what the actual word was. I should point out that the game...

Lexeme - New Homebrew Puzzle Game

A foreign language list of words can be used by the game, instructions are included on how to do that. But only speaking English, I wouldn't be the best person to gather the list. However, the virtual keyboard is currently fixed with the English language. So if, say, you wanted to...

Lexeme - New Homebrew Puzzle Game

Ha! That actually occurred to me too, after I had uploaded the image! I guess that says more about me than I intended. :P

Lexeme - New Homebrew Puzzle Game

It includes instructions on how to use your own word list instead of the built-in one. So it's quite easy to use nothing but dirty four-letter words, if one were so inclined! :o

Lexeme - New Homebrew Puzzle Game

The game of "Mastermind" using four-letter words instead of colors. :) Click here to download from the GP2x.de archives The game was programmed using the excellent GLBasic (see GLBasic's website). It includes most common four-letter words in the English language...although a few choice...

Which Version Should I Go For F100 Or F200

Out of curiosity, what makes the F100 a better developing platform than the F200?

The Gp2x - Out Of Curiosity

I have two issues with my GP2X. The first is that it doesn't have built-in lithium batteries that will charge when plugged in. I've been using two sets of rechargeables (one set charges while the other is in the device), but constantly swapping them is annoying. The rest of my devices...

    Glbasic And Gp2x.de Coding Competition

Gernot posted download links in the GLBasic forums, so I guess they're available to the public. Take a gander hereabouts: http://www.glbasic.com/main.php?site=games-gp2x-compo Contest winners apparently won't be announced for a bit, though.
