    brightness

    well, kill_me2's guide is wrong. the levels filter applies to the whole movie. do it like receed (though i've never heard of a hsv filter? will look into that). play around with the two right sliders on the top, hit preview and check your settings for some scenes, easy as that.

    xvid encodes

    I have also experienced this error once. It was when I cut some part out of my already encoded video. My guess is, that this action somehow messes the header up. did you do anything like that?

    Sound problem w/ files > 55minutes

    Hi there. I've encoded about 6 movies so far, all of them at least 100mins, the longest one about 125 mins. I've encoded in Divx 4.12, Xvid constant Bitrate and Xvid 2pass (Xvid really makes great quality, i might add). I haven't encountered your issue yet. I DID get a similar problem to yours...
