Hi notaz
Thanks for your reply although its not what I wanted to hear of course. It seems to me PCSX-rearmed supports (or supported) more than just the Pandora (I think I saw mention of the Wiz, Caanoo and GP2X somewhere) and I've read people have got it running on the RPi too. Do all these...
Apparently notaz prefers I start a thread on these forums instead of emailing him so here I am! :)
I have recently installed Arch Linux on my olde SHARP Zaurus SL-C3000 and, after about 6 years sat unused, it's now running better than ever! Its running Linux 4.2.3 and I've got MAME4ALL...
Hi Notaz!
Yes, sorry, it was late and I wasn't thinking and you're right - that command did get sdl_omap to configure and compile with NEON support enabled although I had a go with pcsx and it didn't work and I'm unable to try again or give you the exact errors and my Panda has become unusable...
I've just tried configuring sdl_omap but:
checking for ARM NEON support... no
which sounds like a showstopper to me! config.log sez:
configure:19749: checking for ARM NEON support
configure:19768: gcc -c -g -O2 -I./include -D_GNU_SOURCE=1 -DXTHREADS -I./include -D_GNU_SOURCE=1...
bios - yes, its obvious when you mention it but I was thrown off the trail by the paths in the included README being totally wrong and then the path in readme.txt being Pandora only. Something to remember when you next update the docs.
Your OMAP SDL project sounds very interesting and I will...
Couple more probs / questions for notaz:
I've not been able to make pcsx full screen - I have tried setting options / display / scaler to fullscreen but that doesn't work
BIOSs - I have copied a BIOS to my ~/.pcsx/bios dir and made sure its readable but still HLE is the only option. Is that...
Success!
PCSX reARMed now compiles and runs with sound on Pandaboard! Thanks very much to notaz for going to the trouble of installing Ubuntu armhf (on his Pandora?) to fix my build issues, although I did have to make a couple of small changes and there is a bug that needs to be fixed too...
Hi notaz!
I've just done a fresh pull of pcsx and looking at config.log (when I was just getting the error 'please install zlib/libz-dev' from running configure) it said:
gcc -mfpu=neon -mfloat-abi=softfp -mno-thumb /tmp/pcsx-conf--31675-.c -o /tmp/pcsx-conf--31675- -ldl -lm -lz
In file...
Hi notaz!
I tried checking out HEAD with this command:
git clone -b HEAD git://notaz.gp2x.de/~notaz/pcsx_rearmed.git
and it pulls a branch but I get this error too:
warning: Remote branch HEAD not found in upstream origin, using HEAD instead
So maybe I've got that command wrong...
Hi notaz!
Yes, I will try building head soon but its very late now and I've only just seen your message as I've come here to report that I've already got full speed (minus sound, which isn't working on this binary) PCSX reARMed running thanks to a build someone linked to on the RPi forums...
Thanks mcobit, but it looks like my best bet at getting GLUES is compiling this:
git clone https://github.com/Cpasjuste/GLU.git
Which I've had a quick go at already but I'll need to at least install SDL1.3 (SDL2 more likely) before I can compile that then I'll need to update the GLUES code...
Thanks mcobit!
I've checked out that svn but it only seems to support QNX and wince so I tried to get the QNX source to compile but I just get:
~/src/glues-read-only/glues/qnx$ make
Makefile:2: recurse.mk: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `recurse.mk'. Stop...
mcobit:
You're not derailing in the slightest - you can't be more on topic for this thread if you tried! :)
As I think I've already mentioned in this thread, I won't be able to use any pandora libs under Ubuntu 12.04 because its armhf - maybe under a armel distro I could use the GLUES_CM...
Hi sebt3!
Yes, DP is next on my list of games to test. I hope I'm a bit nearer now to getting Q3 GLES running as I have the Maemo port compiling on my Pandaboard as well as its dev (Intel and ex-Nokia dev) helping me out so hopefully I'll have Q3 GLES running soon. I've not tried running any...
Admins - I posted this in the wrong thread so delete this post if you want - its a dupe now.

Hi Pickle!
As I said first off in my first post to this thread, I'm using your 'converted source'
pickle.gp2x.de/source/yamagi_quake2_src.zip
If thats what you mean by eglport code and I'm pretty sure I documented all the changes I made to the makefile in that post too.
I found this thread...
Linux-SWAT:
Done

I'm having trouble finding any source to your or any other GLES port of rrootage - I'd like to try compiling that on Panda please!
Have none of Kenta Cho's other games had the GLES treatment (except noiz2a) yet? gunroar and mu-cade are my faves
I've been trying commands like this:
./quake2 +set vid_fullscreen 0 +set vid_ref glx +set gl_driver /usr/lib/libGLESv1_CM.so
./quake2 +set vid_fullscreen 0 +set vid_ref gl +set gl_driver /usr/lib/libGLESv1_CM.so
As both root and a regular user but still I end up with the MESA software renderer.
