Pandora Writing to $HOME (the real one) from a pnd

A quick question. Is it possible to write to the users real home directory from within the run script of a pnd? Initial attempts fail with a permissions error - just need to check that there isn't a way that I'm not using.

    Pandora PND_post_script.sh

A question. I'm trying to fine tune R.pnd. As part of the run.sh script to launch R, I now generate a PND_post_script.sh file, whose function is to unmount another pnd (java.pnd as it happens) - if I mounted it. I need to do it this way, as I don't know where java.pnd is - until the the main...

    R with GUI

After quite a bit of work, I have re-built R with the Rcmdr GUI, and will be re-releasing it within the next week (I shelved work on RStudio for the time being - I ran into a lot of brick walls and am still smarting from the experience).  Rcmdr uses tcl/tk, so the interface isn't...

    repo enhancements

okayyy - the repo does its job. However, is there anyway of implementing a more 'fuzzy' search. ATM, you really need to know the title of an application to find it. Is it possible to provide a search that perhaps utilises other text in the entry - or am I missing a trick here?

    I surrender!

Being a newbie to the OP, I decided to start with some 'simple' porting stuff - more about getting the hang of PXML.xml and the upload & publishing process etc. So, today I submitted SQLiteBrowser to the repo. On reviewing the repo' entry, SQLiteBrowser doesn't have a donate option. Now, I...

    The case question......

Ahhh, the case. I've not found anything in the forums to suggest this particular solution has already been talked about, but I stumbled across a 'case' that fits the OP like a glove. It provides general protection only - it is after all only made of lightweight neoprene. However, if anyone is...

    Noob question......

I'm a noob to the Pandora, but not to 'linux in you pocket' - having come form the Sharp SL-C1000. I've compiled osmo, and I would like to add it to the repo once I'm done testing it. I've found a couple of things that don't play well with the Pandora, and I will point these out and their...
