How Much Would You Guys Pay For This?

The title and description speaks for itself. One GP2X F100 MKII unit may be up for sale on eBay some time soon. Shipping within lower 48 states of the U.S. though. Unit was barely used, so it looks nearly new. I've also upgraded it to Open2x DR7. Included accessories would be: - Cradle...

How Much Would You Pay For These?

Up for sale are 3 GP2X F100 MKII units, both used, but in good, physical shape! However...all 3 of them are somewhat broken. 2 of them have burnt-out voltage converters meaning they won't power off on AA batteries, while the other has only a bad joystick. If you're good with soldering, you...

Power Supply Heats Up My Gp2X

I have an F100 Mark II and I recently bought the 3.3v 2A power supply for it. It works fine, AA batteries have been removed prior to plugging it in, mind you. However, is it normal that it heats up on the right side when powered by the power supply? After roughly 10 minutes, my GP2X gets...

Bad Joystick, Wants To Replace It.

Ah, no problem. Any suggestions on what kind of soldering iron to use? I have some rosen core solder and from what I understand, rosen core is supposed to be for small electronic projects, but will this apply to the GP2X? Also, Is Mr. DaveC still doing special d-pad mods?

Bad Joystick, Wants To Replace It.

I have two GP2X F100 Mark IIs, where one of them works great with the exception of having a burnt out voltage converter, only being able to run off an external power supply, and the other which only has a bad joystick, being unable to go left without some extra force, making it very hard to play...

Gp2X Issues, And A Possible Modification?

I use a pair of rechargeable Energizers at 2500mAh Yeah, I popped those in my other GP2X with the power supply on, but like yours, it still functions properly. It's just my other GP2X is now no longer portable. :( Is there a way to modify the GP2X so that it can stay on if you happen to plug...

Gp2X Issues, And A Possible Modification?

Damn, I never knew that. I always thought you could be able to charge your AA batteries via wall charger. So my GP2X will no longer power off of AA batteries anymore? Just the external power supply at this point?

Gp2X Issues, And A Possible Modification?

I recently bought an AC adapter for my GP2X F100, but when I unplugged it after trying it out, the GP2X will not take AA batteries anymore: Any set I put in will turn on the green light although dimmer than usual, but the device itself will not run at all. Running my GP2X with the adapter...

    Cradle With No Usb Power

Ah, silly me, I forgot to enable USB power in the settings.

    Cradle With No Usb Power

So I just got a sweet deal on a GP2X and cradle recently, but the 4 USB ports do not seem to work. Video and sound is no problem however, but nothing I plug in seems to function. Well, it can definitely power up my devices, but that's about it (i.e. powers up an external hard drive, but unable...

    A320 Price Increase?

    Well that's a shame. T^T

    A320 Price Increase?

I didn't consider Think Geek, considering that they've been sold out of the A320 for ages, but it's nice of them to have them back. I also see that they restocked on the Wiz, and it's on sale too! I'm almost tempted to re-buy it.

    A320 Price Increase?

So, I checked out Dingoo listings for the A320 on eBay, and found that a lot of the A320 models now start off at roughly $100 to $130, where the A380 starts off at around $120. Of course, Deal Extreme still sells the A320 for $70, but what happened to all of those A320 bundles on eBay where...

    So Long To My Wiz

I don't exactly remember. I found someone's PCSX4all settings somewhere on this forum when I was trying to get it running on my Wiz, so I would go from there. As for in-game controls, the analog nubs won't be a problem for the game, but the L2/R2 buttons would be a bit of a problem. One...

    So Long To My Wiz

Yeah, lack of proper controls made it a hassle for a lot of PSX games, but after a few tweaks I was able to get games like Castlevania: SOTN and Mega Man X4 running almost perfectly. I've never had any trouble emulating SNES and Sega games on my Wiz, though I did have some trouble with a few GBA...

    So Long To My Wiz

Yeah, I guess you could say I sold it out of fear, but it's not like I didn't take care of it. I wouldn't have gotten my money back selling it if I swung that thing around like a flail everywhere. I can at least say that I got my share of fun out of the Wiz. PS1 emulation on that thing...

    So Long To My Wiz

I actually liked the button layout on the Wiz. I just wish someone made an fps game where the second d-pad was utilized for looking/aiming.

    So Long To My Wiz

According to a few posts on this forum, if you keep the Wiz on while charging it (i.e. have an emulator running) for more than roughly 3-4 hours or more, it will cause screen burn. Imagine playing a game of Animatch and looking at a screenshot of your last game of Pokemon at the same time.

    So Long To My Wiz

After only a few months of owning a GP2X Wiz, I've finally decided to sell it. Hardware-wise, it just doesn't stand up to my expectations for long-term use. Solid emulation, being able to play PS1 games, awesome touch screen, and Animatch were what won me over with the Wiz, but the inability...
