Purple Screen RMA - No way back? How to RMA?

Thanks for the replies The purple screen issue appears to be going back and forth. It happened a few days ago, then stopped. Then I turned on my Pandora this morning and it happened as I was opening the system, but now when I open and close, open and close, it doesn't appear to go purple...

    Release Angry Birds for Pandora

I'm not seeing this on the repo page. http://repo.openpandora.org/?page=all&s=new&ipp=all Has it been completely removed altogether, or am I just looking in the wrong place?

Purple Screen RMA - No way back? How to RMA?

Hello all, I've had my Pandora since around January or February. It's worked fine for a while, but now I'm starting to notice that when I open and close the screen, it turns purple. At this point it's still playable because the screen is normal color when the screen is opened all the way...

How do I fix the Pink Screen?

I just started seeing this problem myself, but after poking and prodding the back of the flip screen in order to better understand the problem, the colors started to display correctly regardless of how open it is. My main concern is that this 'accidental fix' is only temporary - should I...

    Release Gemrb

Still no fix for the yellow text issue in bg1? Bummer. EDIT: What did you change in the cfg file to fix the text in Icewind Dale? Any chance of uploading a PND containing the updated CFG files for both BG1 and for Icewind Dale?

    Custom TV-out cable

When this comes to fruition, I definitely want to buy one - 6 foot standard S video male out with standard composite audio

    Beta Mupen64Plus

Of course, the most important area for improvement now is speed optimization - many games are still unplayably slow, even with frameskip (1/3 to 1/2 of the games I've tried) - but that's probably the most in-depth area of the emulator, and would probably require quite some skill in those...

    Dynarec before run-time?

oh okay then, it sounds like my understanding of dynarec was a bit off, so what I was suggesting was based on an incorrect assumption. Thanks for the input though

    Dynarec before run-time?

This is a purely conceptual question, as I have no experience coding emulators. The way I understand it, most emulators use either pure interpretation (in which the entire inner workings, system calls, etc of the system being emulated are directly translated) or dynamic recompilation. From...

    Beta Mupen64Plus

To be fair, it's not completely playable in its current state due to the lag - but it's MUCH closer to being playable now that the horrible black shadow is removed.

    Beta Mupen64Plus

I just tested it - Pilotwings works great, but I think this is an older build. The 2 things that stood out to me are that it doesn't have the picklelauncher built in like the other latest version does, and automatically generated config file mentions nothing about autoframeskip/zelda hack/etc...

    Beta Mupen64Plus

awesome, thanks! I always thought Pilotwings was one of the best games on the N64, and Pilotwings, goldeneye/perfect dark, and Starcraft 64 are the only reason I even have my N64 still physically hooked up. Pilotwings and Paper Mario will be an awesome addition to the Pandora´s game library

Beta Basilisk Ii Pnd - 68K Macintosh Emulator

I got it working! for some reason, I had to add the line "rom rom" to the cfg file. There was no line pointing to the rom in the existing cfg file, even if I deleted it and let the pnd regenerate it. I've no idea why. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of examining the rom

    Beta Mupen64Plus

Seconded! it's definitely playable, and the autoframeskip helps keep things more consistent. The video framerate goes from perfectly smooth at points (the deku tree) to skips that are noticable if you're paying attention, but don't really interfere with the game. Some of the cutscenes are...

    Dega - won't launch

That was it! copied it to the menu folder and it worked from the launcher. Thanks. it's ironic, I usually wait to confirm that things are working before moving them there - and that's why it wasn't working.

    Dega - won't launch

Hello I'm trying to get Dega running. When I launch the pnd, it asks me for a display mode (normal, full scree maintain aspect ration, etc). Regardless of what I pick for a video mode, it doesn't do anything after that. It basically just asks me for a video mode and then crashes. I've...

Beta Basilisk Ii Pnd - 68K Macintosh Emulator

I can't get it to actually do anything. When I launch it, it plays the startup noise, but doesn't actually display anything. It just plays the sound and doesn't do anything. I've tried it using both a rom/hfv file that I confirmed working in Basilisk II in Windows, and with the rom/hfv file...

It works for me! Thanks! Btw, you dont have to kill the spider every time. You can save right after fighting it, before walking into the portal

    iPhone 4 vs Pandora

I got an Ipod Touch 4g in my restlessness waiting for my Pandora. If I recall correctly, I think that the clock speed is 1ghz, which is higher than that of the Pandora. However: I've found that the iPod touch/Iphone is unparalleled at simple day-to-day tasks, such as checking your email...
