    Super Mario Bros on C64

But that's totally incomparable! In the 80 SMB was a hot thing and a commodore 64 was a popular platform with millions units in the wild. Now it's just a curiosity for a bunch of maniacs that fiddle with devices not in production for over 25 years. And speaking of Giana Sisters - You'll never...

    QuickShot/QuickJoy-type Joystick

Well, one of them has problem with the trigger button. Whole button is physically skewed to the side so it could be a broken part or at least something snapped out of it's usual place. I think In the end I will have to take it apart, the thing is, it's at least partially working (if you push the...

    QuickShot/QuickJoy-type Joystick

I'm looking for a replacement for my over 25 year old DB-9 Joysticks for Commodore. The thing is, over the years I got used to fighter-jet- inspired controllers. I mean: - reasonably ergonomic handle - trigger-like fire button under index finger Nice to have features: autofire, additional button...

    Commodore C64

You're kind of running out of time. This was supposed to be funny, yet I only feel some strange melancholy.

    GCW Zero

I don't think more than one batch was ever built. If you don't mind second hand unit I might consider selling mine. It's barely used and I haven't turn it on for more than a year. I'll need to check whetjer it's still working though. This little guy deserves more love than I can afford.

    Last known issue fixed

You will still need at least a simple voltage meter on the other side of the cable, otherwise you will not be able to tell apart shitty cable and shitty charger. Or partially both.

    New Commodore 64 cases anyone?

OK, I might have made made a hasty assumption. I've heard rumours there's something wrong with the commodore cases campaign. I'm not a backer and didn't follow the project that much after it was funded so after I heard the rumours I went to the Kickstarter, browsed the comments and thought...

I haven't ordered anything at DragonBox for a while but as I recall Credit Card Payments are handled outside PayPal.

    New Commodore 64 cases anyone?

I have bought C64 with slightly broken filters on my sid. On simple "syntetic" tests I wrote or typed from the internet it works just fine. You can't notice the failure on many games, but on some cases music sounds lice crap. There's a swinSID project, not sure if you can buy one out of shelf...

    New Commodore 64 cases anyone?

I'm glad theres something happening in the motherboard area. However my experience is that some chips, esp. VIC-II, SID and CIA are the ones that are most fragile. Unformtunately they couldn't be fixed and the only replacement option is canibalising other units.

    Your Retail Therapy?

Well, I got myself into Star Trek Attack Wing and Wizkids has been releasing new expansions like crazy. I tried to restrain myself but ended up buying 17 out of 30 additional ships out there. Fortunately they slowed down releasing new models recently. The good thing is we have a group that plays...

    Staying private on internet.

Well, that might be easy for you but I can imagine people want to have their little secrets, love affairs, very personal letters etc.

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

That was my first thought, but on a second reading... First 14k is labelled as US/Canada shipping, th second that went to Craig is UK/EU/World. I think Link initially kept all shipping money to transfer it to UK only whene the product is ready for shipping.

    What's a Laptop?

Well there are companies like compal or clevo that produce laptop parts or generic sets but they use the same core components as big labels so it's up to you to check every part whether an open driver exists or not.

    The case of the case.

C] stay with the portrait display and let the rotation to be handled by the X-Server or apps themselves. This option is probably easiest for hardware/OS but makes developing and porting apps harder as well as potential Pandora compatibility layer.

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

I think it's kind of "the grass is always greener on the other side" dillema. Democracy has some eminent flaws and no voting system that can eliminate all. Poland once tried strictly proportional system which ended with over 20 parties and committees in parliament (including Polish Beer-Lovers'...
