    The tests continue...

In fact it does exist: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium_oxynitride Just a bit expensive at about 20.000$ per m^2 AFAIK... (:

Probably. But as they'd mostly stay in anyway it wouldn't matter. (:

I would LOVE a waterproof case! All my equipment is rugged (my phone can be put into the washing machine and cooked with noodles...). (: Or at least resistant, to be able to use it in the rain without concern...

    Java 8?

Cool, I'll manage till the Pyra's here then. (: Thanks for all the answers!

    Java 8?

Ah that's too bad. Hm will the Pyra have the same problem then?

    Java 8?

Is there a Java 8 runtime for the Pandora?  In the repo I only found java 7: http://repo.openpandora.org/?page=detail&app=java

Wow that keyboard render (and layout) looks excellent! (:

I really like your new layout! (:

    We got a plan!

I actually went through three of them - always teared somewhere, mostly on one side where the belt loop was fixed to it - before I got the hard case. (:

    We got a plan!

I really hope the new case will have a belt clip. As the standard Pandora hard case doesn't feature one I had mine modified in a leather shop:

Keymat Layout - the Final Poll!

I like 4 the most, closely followed by 10 (pretty similar) and 7. That said, my main criteria are: * ESC not on TAB (or anywhere, where it could be hit accidentally): As TAB is used in a lot of programs and ESC is used in even more I wouldn't want to accidentally hit ESC e.g. while typing too...

    Current Keyboard Layout

If the brightness would cycle back to off after going to max, then those who wouldn't know about Shift for decreasing brightness would still be able to use it completely. Knowing about Shift would just enhance it...

How do I start PNDs from Thunar again?

Heh, I found the old thread, from almost exactly 2 years ago: http://boards.openpandora.org/index.php/topic/2858-executing-pnds-via-doubleclick/?hl=mime#entry49172 WizardStan helped me fix it last time and the fix still works: "As super user (sudo) edit the file "/usr/share/mime/globs" and...

How do I start PNDs from Thunar again?

Thanks for the link! I did what it said, and now I have a "run" entry in the right-click context menu, but double-clicking still doesn't work. Where are those file associations for the MIME types located? Maybe I need to enter it there too.

How do I start PNDs from Thunar again?

After I flashed to the latest ROM 1.54 I lost the ability to open .PNDs by double-clicking them in Thunar. Somehow in the past I got it to work (together with a cute Pandora Icon for PNDs instead of the default binary-icon) but I have *no* idea how I did it and I can't find the (very old)...

    Release FoxtrotGPS

I can't see any maps, just a white screen with a flag. When I select "download maps" a number counts down but nothing else changes. What am I doing wrong? Edit: Also I can see the downloaded maps when I open /appdata/foxtrot/maps, they just don't appear in foxtrot itself...

Is it possible to associate .xls with Libre Office in Pandebian?

Heh, I guess this is more difficult than I thought. ^^

Is it possible to associate .xls with Libre Office in Pandebian?

Does anyone know if you can somehow get .xls files to directly open in Libre Office (in Pandebian) from Thunar? It's kinda annoying to always use File -> Open...
