I think I have a problem with my LCD screen cable.
Received my Pandora at the beginning of this year.
The screen display started cutting out a couple of months ago.
When its tilted and I can only get it to work at a very precise angle.
Such a shame because it hasn’t had alot of use yet.
I...
Thankyou ptitseb for all your efforts on these great emulators.
I'm hoping someone can help with a small problem in the C64EMU which I havn't been able to fix.
If I select any of the "PAL" C64 models from the "system" c64 model type menu, there is a small glitch in the sound which happens...
I would also recommend downloading and listening to episode 16 of the Retro Gaming Roundup podcast - http://www.retrogamingroundup.com/shownotes/2010/roundup016_2010.02.htm
They discuss their personal Top Ten games for the 2600 which could be of use for anyone new to the world of the 2600.

I just sooo can't wait for my Pandora to arrive.
It's software like this that was the reason I bought the Pandora in the first place.
You're a legend Jeff.
Thanks for all your hard work.
Jeff - you're a legend !!! :D
This is going to be a brilliant idea for the Pandora.
Please keep up the good work and keep us posted on any news.
Thanks.
Your right - now that I've watched it again I'm pretty sure it's Last Ninja 2. I think its the first couple of screens before going outside into the park. I got confused because the music definately sounds like the original Last Ninja 1 Ben Daglish track but remixed (Where did the Matt Gray...
Hopefully these are correct although my memory isn't what it used to be :) ....
1 Law Of The West
2 IK+ (Still my favourite fighting game of all time)
3 Impossible Mission
4 The Last Ninja (Could be the remixed verion)
5 Bubble Bobble
6 Turrican (Not sure if it's Turrican 1 or 2)
7 Wizard Of...
Yeah, Gribbly's Day out was a brilliant game although 'Gribbly's SPECIAL Day Out' was even better (but probably harder to find).
From memory, for Special Day Out Andrew Braybrook optomized the original which created smoother gameplay. I think he also fixed some bugs in the scrolling routines...
Would love to see you continue your GUI work on those tools for the Pandora Jeff.
That would give us access to loads of great classics.
I guess a good C64 emulator would suffice for a lot of adventure games I remember playing. Man, I've just remembered how good the C64 graphics were on Magnetic...
chiark - If you want to be a first batch buyer I'd say there could still be a very good chance.
I only just managed to order one from the first batch yesturday from Jacuelyn at openpandorasales.
I had been trying for about a month to get one, but it seems that none of my emails were getting...
Yep, I think the Pandora is going to be brilliant for playing these old text adventures.
Having a proper keyboard is just the thing for emulating the old 8 bit computers. Especially for running the old adventure games.
I remember drooling over all the ZZAP64 reviews of Infocom games back in the...
Just wondering what will be the best way (or if it's even possible?)to run the old Infocom games on Pandora?
Would I need something like DosBox or a Linux version of WinFrotz?
I'm not familiar with the Linux operating system and have never tried running DosBox so I was hoping there would be an...
I agree with Andres.
I sent an Email about a week ago enquiring about purchasing a Pandora and have had no reply.
I'm not sure if our Emails aren't getting through, or if it is just bad customer service?
Any help would be appreciated as I now don't want to miss out on purchasing one.
