I'm confused. It looks like you're saying that the upgrade price is currently only 77.94€ less than the price of a new one.
... That's not even 20% off. I thought it was at least significant, if unreasonable.
Yes, making the upgrade 199€ (about US$260 at the moment says Google) would be a...
Well, yeah, but on the other hand Craig and ED might actually be talking to each other. There's a very slight chance of a positive outcome for some of us, so I'm happy about that much.
Yeah, that would be great but...
It's just not worth it to me anymore.
The specs are not as good as my phone, and my phone (a year old itself) is already well behind the cutting edge.
My phone is dual core, 1.2 GHz (which the 1 GHz units can probably reach, haven't checked) has 1 GiB of RAM...
Wow, I think I've never had a thread I started reach 11 pages and have a call for it to be locked, it's kinda thrilling in a train-wreck way.
Not that I didn't think it could lead to some squabbles - it was a provocative question despite being worded objectively - but actually bringing Craig...
Thank you, I guess that answers that.
Jacquelyn actually suggested that to me. Unfortunately the bank I was with when I made the preorder was purchased and gradually became evil, to the point where I had to close my accounts there. I still called them and asked about chargebacks but no dice.
Hi,
My story is very typical around here.
On 2009-09-21 I placed a pre-order with Craig's shop. In Sept. of 2012 I requested a refund and after a few e-mails, exactly 3 years after I got myself into this mess, on 2012-09-21 Jacquelyn said "You will receive email confirmation on the day your...
Also, even if it were possible to raise prices we already accepted, that would have led to riots and mass cancellation (and the destruction of the whole project). Did andmaz mean "Should have charged more to begin with"?
Personally much more than packet injection, I'm hoping we'll get the "bluetooth coexistence" from that driver. Might help explain why I see so many people with conflicting experiences with the wifi (and bluetooth) on the current driver.
(Edit: And of course the various other fixes)
I hate to be the one to ask this, but how are the built-in speakers?
Mostly I want to know if I'll be able to play YouTube clips and silly .MP3s for friends, loud enough for them to hear (my laptop barely is) and if it might work as an alarm clock when it's in a coat pocket.
(Edit: Oh hey, I...
I kinda figured as much :-(
I placed my small order long ago pretty much just to enter the contest and never received it either. I was already considering it to be a donation, I suppose now I have the opportunity to make that official: No refund please.
(Edit: Yay, now I'm "Hardcore" - 100 posts)
The way Nokia has consistently abandoned their Linux devices as soon as they Start developing the next one is part of what convinced me to order a Pandora in the first place. I will probably never buy another Nokia product. But good luck with the N9 :-)
Please keep in mind that Karel doesn't actually mean "standby" on the N800 (There is a hack to enable standby on them, but it's unsupported) - the 9 to 10 days figure (which I can confirm) is for simply Idle! As in the CPU/Ram is still on and programs are still running, but the screen and maybe...
I am attending PAX and if I had my Pandora (which won't be for a while, I'm OVER 2000!) then I would have it with me to show off. I'm curious if anyone who has received their Pandora is bringing it there. I'd love to see one in person early.
