They clearly weren't ready, we all agree with that. But the main reason why they went worldwide is that the South Korean government financially supports exporting companies. So they had to sell GP32's outside Korea to get subsidies, ready to go international or not.
At least that's what akumajo...
Hi! Very nice idea you've got there. I always thought the GP32 would be a nice tool to quickly put some tunes together on the go.
I've tried stuff like nanoloop on my GP32 (via fGB32), and it was really fun to play with during my daily commute.
But you're right, creating a usable interface with...
Very nice Stuff there. The GPS32 is sweet, although useless for most GP32 users I know (me :P)
This made me think of building my own GP32 -> cellphone serial cable, and toy around with GP Linux in order to use my phone's internal modem to connect to the internet...
Hope I manage to do this...
Really really nice stuff here :)
I happen to have a SMC 2862W-G Wifi USB adapter (worth 75 Euro, paid 14,5 E due to a labelling error (thanks FNAC))
Do you know it it would work with the packed driver?
Could someone also remind me what is needed to connect an USB device to my GP32...
Fixed my broken buttons with some old cheap PC gamepad's membrane (cut to the right size). Fits like a glove, works like a charm and didn't cost me a penny.
Now I have to fix my right shoulder button (i have broken the metal bit that acts as a spring) Somehow i feel paper would be a bit to...
By "Serial Cable" do you imply that it would be possible to connect a GP32 to a cellphone w/ built-in modem through RS232 and then browse the net with it?
Obviously it would be very slow but would it be possible according to you gp-nux de guys?
(et bonne chance pour la thèse au fait ;)
I Love that game
I mean, it's installed on every of my machines (even at work!), and i spent hours and hours playing it. And now, i get to play it on my beloved GP32.
I'm in love with you too
(yaouank is going to be happy as well)
Thanks a lot
No worries Zenocha, we're not in such a hurry. At least i'm not, since my GP32 is still disassembled at the moment :) So i don't care if i get the chatboard this week or next, as long as i'm sure it's on its way.
I ordered one. Zenocha stated on his website that the chatboards would be posted either yesterday or today. So i guess we'll only have to wait for the postmen to do their job.
Hey i also have an RCRV3 Li Ion (Samsung) battery sitting around since two or three month, waiting for me to mod my GP32 the way you did. Maybe this will give me the motivation to do so ;)
I've tested my battery with Yaouank's battery tester program (http://yaouank.gp32news.com/ , down ATM)...
I remember Squidge saying he would have a look into those sources and play with'em. And ThunderZ is already working with enf65 as I understand it.
I suggest you all get in touch via IRC to keep your mutual efforts as productive as possible ;)
Nice to see people with so much talent getting...
Yup, he said the main reason was to get help with video modes he hasn't time to deal with. Squidge, I reckon you should definitely have a look into this (and hopefully help this emu become the best thing since sliced bread ;) )
Indeed, it's a really exciting period for us GP owners :)
With enf65 making GP Advance's sources available later on this week, I reckon it's going to be even more exciting :)
